Bollinger County Ordinance 2025-0702 was officially adopted 07/07/2025. Bollinger County Senior Citizen Tax Freeze is a program designed to give senior citizens who are homeowners in Bollinger County a tax credit on their real estate taxes for their primary residence only. It does NOT eliminate all taxes on the parcel; it only freezes the approved assessed value so it will not increase. The first year you will see little to no credit, but as the years accumulate and assessed values increase, so will the credit amount.

Application Information and the Senior Application are attached above for your convivence. You may print the application out, fill it in, and return with all the stated documents to either the County Collector or County Clerk. Application deadlines for 2025 will be September 1st.
